There’s a house under construction at 3570 Beach Drive in Oak Bay, BC.

I don’t know who the architect is, but so far I really like what I see.

I’m especially loving the post and beam timber framing that is going to allow huge windows which will give the residents views of Cadboro Bay.

Almost all the new homes in James Bay are the horribly tacky faux craftsman style that is being built everywhere these days, but fortunately one builder has taken the road less travelled and built a very nice modern style house.
