Wow! I just drove past this last week when visiting Vancouver. It was not lit up so we never stopped to take pics. Boy am I sorry now.

It’s beautiful, but is not being used very well it seems. Architectural feat yes, but a functional failure?
These photos have been touched up heavily. They have some coloured light feature here as well that really blows.
This would have been better placed up on the edge of a nearby bluff than across the highway.

What do you mean by “is not being used very well”? People aren’t using it?
